Video Clips of the Fights

All test participants fight in one full-contact, one-minute fight against a competitor equal in size and ability. The face is an illegal target. And please watch: While there is a POSSIBILITY of injury, they are very few, AND the students benefit from that all-important exposure to "the real thing" for just a few moments, thus saving them from developing a false notion of what they can do in a self-defense situation.

Note that men, women and children are participating and THEY'RE JUST LIKE YOU!!

If the videos intimidate you, come watch a class. We train all students in a way that they move into this type of activity WITHOUT fear, intimidation, or injury. Some of these are great fights, and all students leave the dojo better friends, and with a better sense of respect for each other! Remember, that nobody in life cares about a "tough guy." Far more important are health and character and interpersonal relationships. That's why hard training, and experiences like these, are important. It through activities like these, that we all develop spiritual strength and character. New students should beware of the martial arts studio that doesn't give them this type of opportunity, and the ones in which the instructor doesn't know how to train them to do it safely. Martial Arts without some taste of the real thing is dangerous in that students develop fantasies rather that physical and spiritual strength.
