Kyokushin-kan's Invitation to All

Kyokushin-kan International is open to all dojo operators who teach Mas Oyama's Kyokushin karate throughout the world, who are willing to follow Kyokushin-kan's policies, and support the worldwide development of Kyokushin karate. As a nonprofit organization, Kyokushin-kan International, more so than any of the other Kyokushin splinter groups, exists exclusively to develop Kyokushin karate in the world for the betterment of the spiritual and physical health of its members and for the deepening of human relationships and therefore the betterment of society as a whole. As a member branch of Kyokushin-kan International in your country, you will benefit from invitations to participate in an ever-widening range of international seminars and tournaments, just as you will benefit from Kyokushin-kan's standardized ranking system designed to instill a world standard and prevent run-away ranking as is so common in unregulated styles around the world. (continued below)

Most importantly, however, as a member of Kyokushin-kan, you and your dojo will benefit from the spiritual guidance and technical instruction of Kancho (chairman) Hatsuo Royama, Fuku-Kancho (vice-chairman) Tsuyoshi Hiroshige, Honbu-Chief Akio Koyama, and Kyokushin-kan Technical Committee Chairman, Hiroto Okazaki, among others. Together within Kyokushin-kan we invite you to work together with us to continue the vital development of Sosai Mas Oyama's Kyokushin karate. We at Kyokushin-kan look to the future, in the spirit of Mas Oyama, to ensure that Kyokushin karate retains (or in some cases "reclaims") its reputation as the world's strongest karate. Just as Kyokushin karate continuously evolved during Mas Oyama's lifetime, we optimistically embrace a notion that all of us, working together, bringing our students together for competitions, and especially under the guidance of some of the greatest minds of the Kyokushin world, will achieve new levels of technical performance and spiritual strength worthy of the protection of Mas Oyama's legacy.
